Campaign Story

I dedicated this album and the title song, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” to Troops coming home for Christmas to rejoin their families.  My mother told me our family story of why it was her favorite song.  She said it reminded her of her eldest brother who was killed in WWII.  My grandmother received a letter from him that he would be home for Christmas. Unfortunately, it was not to be. My grandmother got a knock at her door from two servicemen with the dreaded news.  It is my prayer that this song rings true for every soldier and their families that hear these words as we raise funds for our annual I’ll Be Home For Christmas celebration for the troops coming home.
